The Plan
Overview:
We’re creating an experience that focuses on quality time, spread over a few days, with the people we love. Our intention is for guests to make a vacation out of it and enjoy the place we call home.
For those unable to join, we have a live feed via Zoom of the ceremony.
Thursday:
We will have an intimate ceremony at the Point San Luis Lighthouse with our immediate family and wedding party followed by a small celebration.
- 4:00 – Ceremony
Friday:
Enjoy an open day to explore SLO or the surrounding area. See recommendations of things to do.
We’ll likely end up somewhere people can casually come and go, completely informal.
Join us for sunset at 5:30 – 6:30 pm at Terrace Hill, our first date spot. Bring a picnic and wine and enjoy the beautiful view overlooking downtown SLO. Kids welcome. Bring jacket, walking shoes!!!, and a phone with a light for coming down. It’s a steep hill with two options of getting up. It’s a 5 min. hike. How to get there.
We have extra blankets and cups. Stop by our house to grab before 5. We’ll be walking from our house to the hill at 5 if you want to join.
Two great places to grab cheese and wine: The Park (downtown) and The Co-op.
Saturday:
This will be an opportunity to celebrate with more friends and family in a relaxed setting–potluck style.
Come and go as you wish between 11am-4pm at Cuesta Park. Unhosted. Bring something to throw on our reserved grill and a side to share. Or bring a picnic for yourself.
What will be provided: reserved seating, grill area, a friend who has graciously offered to man the grill for those interested (thank you Zack!), plates and utensils, ice, beer, and yard games. [We don’t need RSVP responses for this yet.]
Hi!
If you aren’t sure, the pretty one on the left is Cierra, and the guy on the right is just regular Jon. ~Jon
I get to marry this hottie! He most certainly is not just regular Jon. ~Cierra
REGISTRY
Your presence is the greatest gift–and all we ask for…seriously! But for those who want to gift, here’s our registry.
Health and Wellness
With consideration to friends and loved ones, we want to make everyone feel safe and comfortable, and to do that, we need everyone to be fully vaccinated before coming to any events. When it comes to children, we’ll follow CDC guidelines at that time. For those unable to travel for any reason, we plan to stream the wedding event so loved ones can be with us from afar.
